Beauty and the Seed!

Sewing is my passion. I also adore the natural way of living and body therapy. I am the one who is not a big fan of taking medicine or eating junk foods. As I believe that our body is the compositions of nature, so the best way to keep ourselves stay healthy is to be close to nature.

In Thai massage, it is recommended to the patient with muscular tension to rub the particular part of the tension body with hot towel. It is not always convenient to do that. So I made my very first flaxseed pillow to help ease the body pain. It is amazingly wonderful. When I put my warm flaxseed pillow on my neck and shoulder before sleep at night, it helps not only to relax my body but also keep myself warm in a chilled night. And of course, I slept tight until morning!

And I made my very first collection of the flaxseed pillow with a lot of love and care. They come in various sizes and shape for different kind of therapy.

All the pillow cover is made of 100% cotton fabric. They are removable and washable. For more information please visit www.arokaya.cl.

In my sweet memory

More than 1 year ago, on 6 March 2009 was my wedding in Thailand. My husband and I met in Japan in 2005 and we keep our relationship for 4 years before getting married. And here we are!

I made my own wedding dress, anyone believe in this? And yes it is true. I spend around 6 months to make the dress and all made by hand! I was so happy to design and try to put many kinds of materials, beads on the dress and it came out nice. I was satisfied with it.

I brought the dress to use in the wedding in Chile also. Here are more pictures of the dress.

I love and happy to make it. Hope some of you like it also ^_^
Have a good day!

Colorful and vintage!

Some days back I was creating one of the bag from my dot printed fabric and another one from the beautiful fabric decorate with vintage lace.

The colorful one is made fancier by white beads. It took me one and a half days just embellish with the beads, however, it came out pretty!

The vintage one is also adorable!

My Biggggg Project!!!

I finally did a big project!

This blanket is still I made by hand!! The size is 180x150 cm. I spent 2 months for this project. I had started to sew after the big earthquake in Chile. The blanket helps me a lot to release my stress from the movement of aftershock! I also quilt by hand. It is unbelievably exhausted and pain all my hands and arms. However, after finished this work I am so pround of myself!

This blanket made of two tone color, one sise is brown and the other side is pink.

Happy sewing!!

Small reversable bag

I was practicing to create a small. And this is another hand sewing.

I use the fabric given by my mother-in-law to creat this cute small bag. At that moment I did not have other materials....so I just made a tiny fabric as a wire to close the bag. I use it when go out to supermartket near home. It is good enough to put my wallet, moblie phone and home keys.

Inside out version

Happy sewing!!!!

Square Patchwork Pillow Case

I am falling in love with sewing. It started from my mother-in-law, she is my first teacher! Special thanks to her.

The first project I made was by hand because at that moment I still did not have sewing machine. Pillow case is my choice. It is just a simple square patchwork. I finished 3 of them and they look nice on the black sofa at home!
